Position for Bus Driver, Tour Guide and Travel Agency Manager

 

New Asia Pacific Travel (NAPT) is the only Chinese Tour operator in NT. Due to our increasing development and expansion, we are inviting you to join our team if you are a travel consultant highly motivated, responsible, passionate, with high attitude into details, and experience in Asian Tours (China, Indochina and India) consultancy.

 

You will need to full-time work in Uluru, Yulara and Darwin.

 

Requirements for a bus driver:

  • Holding a licence with H Endorsement;
  • General maintenance and cleaning of the bus;
  • General administration duties to Visits area;
  • Experience with people from varying social and ethnic backgrounds; and
  • Fluently Chinese communication skills.

 

Requirements for a tour guide:

  • Friendly and helpful personality;
  • Excellent general knowledge of NT;
  • Good physical fitness;
  • Excellent communication and people skills;
  • To be responsible, honest and reliable;
  • An aptitude for problem solving;
  • Making arrangements for catering, accommodation, transport and excursions;
  • Studying the important historic events associated with the tourist spots
  • Conveying and informing the tourists about the information on the tourist places; and
  • Fluently Chinese communication skills.

 

Requirements for a travel agency manager:

  • Maintaining the up-to-date information on the travel operations and transport mediums;
  • Assisting and coordinating in formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices promoting and advertising the establishment’s goods and services;
  • Maintaining the financial account details of the agency;
  • Facilitating the customers in the booking of tickets and accommodation arrangements;
  • Managing the travel agency work activities and devising new tour and travel plans and packages;
  • Coordinating and guiding the agency staff to work for the customer satisfaction and development of the agency;
  • Selling travel products and tour packages;
  • Taking part in familiarization visits to new destinations in order to gain information on issues and amenities of interest to consumers;
  • Liaising with travel partners to manage bookings and schedules;
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations;
  • Meeting company directors who advise on strategy and finding out about any local issues and future trends;
  • Overseeing the recruitment, selection and retention of staff as well as payroll matters and staff training;
  • Dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints; and
  • Fluently Chinese communication skills.
