关于UTS 每学年最低 50% PASS! 急

UTS的学生规则上面说每学年必须50% PASS 否则会勒令停学一年

那国际学生如果50% 没有PASS他勒令停学一年会不会被遣返啊

急急急 因为上学期没考好 很担心这学期结束50%没PASS

担心........

我知道第一学期4门FAIL三门是会没事

我是说如果一学年FAIL超过50%  规则上说会叫停学一年

Dear Student

I am writing to advise you of new student rules relating to minimum rate of academic progress in any half year of study. These rules will take effect at the time of the release of the Autumn 2007 Semester results.

What is academic caution?

Academic caution is a process which helps us to identify students who are at risk of not meeting minimum rate of academic progress in any semester of their enrolled course. Students placed on academic caution are required to seek academic advice and attend a study skills program to help them meet the required minimum rate of academic progress.

Which students are subject to academic caution?

Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students (ie. not research students)  who, in any half year of study, achieve less than fifty per cent (50%) of the credit points in which they are enrolled may be placed on academic caution. Academic caution will apply for the next half year of study following the decision to place the student on academic caution.

What must a student on academic caution do to comply with the University Rules?

During a period of academic caution the student must:

• Consult with the designated course adviser from the relevant Faculty for study plan advice
• Attend a study skills workshop program to be organised by the Student Services Unit.
• Attend an ELSSA English language workshop if directed to do so by the relevant Faculty RAO
• Enrol in a maximum of 24 credit points for the half year of study to which the period of academic caution applies, or no more than 6 credit points for the following summer teaching period. The maximum number of credit points in which a student may enrol may be reduced to 18 if the relevant faculty Responsible Academic Officer determines
• Students on academic caution who attempt to enrol in credit points above the maximum may be withdrawn from subjects  by the Registrar

How will I know if I am on academic caution?

Students who are placed on academic caution will be advised in writing and by email of the arrangements and requirements for academic caution. Students will also be advised if they are on academic caution each time they login to My Student Admin

When does the new academic caution rule apply?

As mentioned above, academic caution applies from the date of release of Autumn Semester 2007 results.
