有人看4月7日Channel 7的TodayTonight ?

我看了关于中国人的那段，气得不行。
就发了信去complaint, 看看我的信吧。

I am here to make a formal fomplaint against Channel 7’s TodayTonight program on Monday, April 07, 2008.

Part of the program on that night was about some people in Chinese community do not speak English. And that’s what annoys me most.

First of all, there are two different groups of Chinese people got involved in. The first group is international students as the program tried hard to mix up with local Chinese, I am wondering if any of our Australian law or Acts will require forging to speak local language? In the other word, if an AZ go study in Greek, will the Greek government asks him/her to speak Greek?

The second group of people is local Chinese, and that is what I want to say most. All migrant come to AU for different reasons, but I believe one of the most important reasons for us to come is because we all know that Kevin Rudd is not Adolf Hilter. We have a government who announced to be multi-culture and fire regardless your race and language. So, is this program telling me that if I speak Chinese, then I will be treated different in our society? Yes, according to your program, I would be.

Second, during the whole the program, all I can see is the people who direct the show is showing all AU the negative site of Chinese community. I am a pure 100% Chinese and I can speak both English and Chinese. More than that, there are so many Chinese who are speaking multi language and paying tax for the government to build AU to be a better country. I guess you guys just choose to be blind and not to see it.

Last of all, if you are a serious TV reporter who should aim on the truth, please do your research before you put your rubbish on air – Australia DO have immigration and migration law. And all migration have to pass an English exam which call IELTS then they can enter Australia!!

I am here to require a formal apology for you to everyone in Chinese community for your incorrect report and any consequence caused by your report.

根本就是bull shit，本来我对tt的印象还蛮好的，
觉得他敢于曝光Qantas不安全、各大银行高收费、Telstra用塑料袋修电话线什么的。

结果今天来了这个，
还找了个英文烂的真够可以的中国人在那里说，
很想吐血而且很鄙视之。

不过楼主呀，
tt节目最后有说澳洲法律没要求移民一定要讲英文耶。

有人能upload一下那段吗？ 我没有看，想看看..

要是我，我就写中文过去。。。 英文容易引起误解~~还是用中文我想说什么就能说清楚，娃哈哈

我就是其中一个没有考过 IELTS 的....

我看了。。。见怪不怪了。。。
你这种complain想必电视台天天收到。。。
这个回邮是事先准备好的格式。。。只要复制粘贴就发还给你了。。。
还是平常心些吧。。。你花上一个多小时写。。。他们一分钟就打发掉了。。。

其实媒体收到这种complain他们会有一种病态的满足。。。
说明他们的时事节目有人关心。。。有一定的收视率和收视群体。。。
以后我们还是在活人论坛里多交流交流吧。。。这样更加有价值。。。

我觉得 月蜘蛛 老大说的很有道理耶...  毕竟电视台跟观众看待一个节目的心理是不同的... 就算是叫骂连天.. .也许也只是在搞宣传... 这个社会真可怕... 好黑暗...... :monkey4
