I do not disagree, but how much can you learn from them and how long can you get most of the local experience? These will be another issue for you worries again. This really depends how lucky you are and how experience the accountants from the accounting firm they are. One thing here: if you go to Chinese accounting firm, I will suggest you not to waster money and energy and time, as many examples approved: they cannot learn what you want from them and maybe some of this firm just focus on the tax issue, not on Company accounting issue which is the basic accounting structure for you future career, that will limit you career.[/font][/color][/size]

We finished final topic on last Friday. I believe it was the most interesting and challenging topic of four. However, there was too much staff n I felt a bit confusing after finishing the topic = =… I should say practicing and notes organizing are really important. Anyway, I still wanna learn lots of things from Nicole so I would like to apply for the tutor on Saturday class.

The first topic is accounts payable. After finishing the topic, you are able to:
Create n update supplier details -> input invoices into computer system -> process authorized payments -> confirm with suppliers about missing invoices and incorrect amounts on monthly basis, etc

And you can apply for accounts payable now! of course after a bundle of practicing hahaha…

I am a new graduate from Nicole's Class. My name is Jiayin, I will apply for the position as tutor, we probably can meet in this Saturday's class.
I came to Australia for almost three years. Although I got master degree in Accounting, I still not confident to find a accounting job. The degree only give me  theoretical accounting knowledge, I  am lack of practical experience in accounting area. I believe that will be the common problem for   all graduates.
Thanks for Nicole. She helps me a lot. She use real invoices, real cases to show how to be a account receivable, account payable, payroll ect. in Australia. After four classes, i got a sound  structure of practical accounting. She is an excellent person, she got solid accounting knowledge and experience. I like her smiling.:monkey16   
Self practising is very important. I have finished her course, I still keep reviewing her notes.  I will appreciate if I can join her class again and try my best to help new students.

:onion1 Please remember you have to answer student’s question after the class. The reason I ask you guys to do this is that you have to use what you learned in my class to apply student’s questions. This is another way for you to review and get familiar with your knowledge. Unless you cannot solve the issue, then bring the question to me in the class.

Frankly speaking, I have seen many of your kind of Chinese students who have Master or Bachelor degree lost the confidence when they can not find the accounting job. They confused and do not know where to start their career as all the jobs being
askeded for local experience.

They would like to sacrifice themselves to gain some accounting practice experience through volunteer or something else. But this world still does not really work for them because of many reasons.

I'd like share sth here which i kept talking all the time butta.....sorry Nicole, anyway i am putting them in Chinese this time as i said. hehe
想说一下我自己当Tutor的体会
  其实我觉得这一次在Nicole那里真的比第一次学了更多的东西, 第一次自己在学的时候, 完全没有概念要学的是什么, 每次几个小时真的是全神贯注的在听在练, 但是往往因为一个地方卡住, 也许后面的就遗落了.因为老师教的内容实际上真的还蛮多的,而且操作性特别强. 但是当Tutor的时候, 因为自己已经有了Idea,很清楚哪里自己已经很熟悉, 哪里还不够了解. 所以把上次没学到的又补足了很多.
  另外一个方面, 其实会计做起来实际上是非常注意Details的, 每个人可能会出错的地方都不同, 而现在跟大家又一次一起学习, 也从别人迷惑不理解的地方学到了不少的知识,而有时候记别人的错误比记自己的清楚,PS:这是不是人的劣根性啊.hah:)
  会计工作真的是讲究经验来的, 而这种经验和management, marketing是不同的, 后者比较是逻辑和分析能力的统一, 可能在不同的行业和公司, 并不是所有人的经验都学来可以实际应用的. 而会计是特别讲究条理清晰和注重细节的处理, 这个和工作经验长短有很直接的联系.往往从小节的地方就会看出经验来, 这些东西虽然很杂很细,然而一旦偷学到了, 就受益匪浅.尤其找工作的时候被问道的话就自信多了:)
  我想说的是, 并不是每个人都会这样把自己的东西告诉给你的, 这个到了工作的时候体会的就更深了, 没办法, 到底同行是冤家^_^ 所以自己一直对老师还是非常感谢的, 所以也希望自己在某种程度上可以帮的上忙, 大家有什么关于这个Trainning的问题也可以问我:)

First Week-- Acct Payable: You can access to the real invoice and know how to read  the invoice and set up the Suppliers info and Record it the MYOB system,

Second Week--Payroll : You can exposure to full function of Payroll in this course, which including Super, Overtime Payment, Holiday Payment. Plus you can gain the full concept of Bank Reconciliation.

Third Week--Acct Receivable:  You can understand the way to create the invoice for ur cust and how to ask the payment if u dont receive the payment on the due day

Fourth Week:-- BAS, PAYG report Month Ending Reporting,like B/S reconciliation, and Nicole teacher will provide some
tips for your interview and resume writting.

Hopefully, the above info can give new coming some basic idea about the course, and if you john us, actualy u can feelmore than what i am talking....

This should not happen as you just created  your company on 6/05/2008. Have you chosen your company and then option 3 , and
then get into your company. Please try it again.

if it does work for you, you can creat a new company for yourslf to finish the homework. I will have a look when you come this

sorry, i missed your call around that time.
i did choose option 3, but it showed i only have 0 day left. Later on, i created another company, i exited and re-entered again, it was fine. However, problem came when i tried to entry my new company on the second time, it showed i only have 0 day left too. Dont understand why  it happened to my MYOB?
I backup all the data, i am able to access the previous info through the backup file, so i can still do my homework.
See you on Sat, hopefully, you can solve my problem then.
Btw, what time the class start on Sat?

I did test my MYOB from my computor to open the new company which Ryan (one of your classmates who used this computer
  in the  class this Tuesday) has 88days to practice.

Could you please bring you Pc this Saturday. I will have a look before the class starts.
