Hi guys, I am Annie, whom Nicole mentioned above. I haven’t come here for a long time, as I  spent several weeks traveling and looking for job these months. Luckily I wait for the job I am satisfactory. The only person I want to thank is Nicole. I benefit a lot from her, not only the knowledge about MYOB in class, but encouragement and talk after class like friend. I really appreciate what she had taught me and I feel so luck to have a friend like her.
The following are two points I think which are important during job hunting.
1. Being prepared and Keeping trying.
What Nicole taught us is all the basic use of MYOB. Practice more and prepare yourself well to any opportunity. This is the most essential thing we should do. No matter how many confused letters you receive, no matter how terrible the interviews are, don’t feel discouraged. Keeping emailing resume and the more resumes are taken, the more opportunities are. I like the two in all the website of job search, especially the first one, which are often posted by employers themselves.

2. “can-do” attitude.
Employers like person who is confident about himself and never be sacred about pressure or problems. My new job actually covers all the things that an accountant does, as there is no extra accountant in the company. When I was interviewed, the boss sincerely talked me about the serious situation in the company. I told him I can do it as I have basic knowledge about accounting and adapt new environment very well. Confidence will make employers believe you have ability to do it, so never show any hesitation. Be brave.
I have more than 15 interviews before I get this job. To be honest, I have thought about to quit finding accounting job. But good luck is always waiting for you in the next corner. Don’t be hesitate and keeping doing, I am sure you will the next one.

Yes, I do agree with you. I am very happy with Thursday class:

1st. They [b]all came on time[/b] except one person (because of traffic Jam): Unbelievable, most of them
already waited for me in front of my door before I finish my work that afternoon
2nd, They[b] very cooperated[/b] in the class. I can see guys thinking all the time in the class,that's very
good. In Thursday class, some of students already got accounting experience in China or in Australia.
This will benefit you guys for the whole class, do you agree, Guys?

envy you guys as Nicole lives in Sydney so that you guys can attend my class easier than them. They told me they wish to have this
kind of "Nicole" in Brisbane who can help them, otherwise some of them have to fly to Sydney to attend my class. Actually, It's too
expensive for them to come to Sydney as they have to come once per week.

When I heard this, l still stood up and told them I am willing to help them until they find another "Nicole" in Brisbane. Therefore, I will fly
to Brisbane for one weekend to run the training class for them as long as they organise the class already.

Last class in topic A/P is good. Very practicle! I though I have some understanding in A/P, but actually I only can answer few questions you threw to us last night. I need to have some homestudy before I ask any questions.
I am looking forward to payroll topics next week as I have no idea of that at all.
The only bad thing happened to me last night is there was no bus back to my place in Marsfield because it is too late. Unfortunately I need to drag my friend out of the bed to pick me up! I feltso sorry. So I am thinking about can you swap me to thursday class from next topic? It is really appreciated if you can arrange that for me!

Then, I would like to say it is worth to be there. It is not about how much we paid, it is about what we learned from the class. The class was interesting, and Nicole was very patient, she covered all the details we need. And, I like this kind of small classes, because everyone can participating in the class.

I got mountains of bills sitting on my desk, after the AP class, I found they all my "good friends", hahaha, because I can get my own practice at home. I don't have any work experience of accounting. So in interview, the emplyer always says my biggest weakness is no work experience. But i couldn't find a good way to get that experience. I was very frustrated. Before attending your class, I wanna know what an accountant really does? Is accounting work too hard for me? From your class, I learned a lot.The most importance thing I got is confidence. I am sorry I made many mistakes in your class but I know I can

Payroll topic

Hello everyone

Just quickly stretch my back after sitting in my desk for whole morning to tidy up my mind for payroll topic. Now feels like a duty to write some of my opinions of the class to appreciate Nicole and tutors' efforts in the class.
Basically I agreed with Nicole's idea, payroll is a bit stereotype rather than creative, always involove a lots of processing tasks. The virtue is to understand the whole structure underneath, so set up such as link accounts, superable & taxable options & wage categories are all important. The rest of data entries are a piece of cake.
BUT after all these confident comments, I still have a lots of wonders in my mind, like what is happening when employer need to pay super to super fund on behalf of employees? or pay ATO tax? How employers get deduction from those expense? what is the journal entries of those transactions?

Of course, I won't expect to get all the answers right now, but I do open my mind to start thinking of it. NOT BAD!

昨天又重温了一把当tutor的感觉^ ^
熟悉的payroll，烦人的payroll，让人觉得既有成就感又有挫折感的payroll，
相信也又一次成功的摘下四堂课里“最让人头疼”的称号。

尽快的整理笔记，重新梳理一下在自己脑海里建立起来的框架。
然后再开始以仔细的（你就当给你公司员工发钱吧=  =）态度把作业做好。
相信对这部分的理解就会变得好很多。
当然如果你还不满足，也可以变着法的改动作业要求。
课堂很重要，课堂下的不断练习也很重要。

如果有什么想说的想建议的开心的不满的都可以来说说啊，
上过课的没上过课的找到工作的还在努力的都还是要偶尔来坐一下。
